FAQ
Good questions.
No. Scores are model signals, not proof of origin. A high score means the model sees strong signs of AI generation; a low score means few. Anything in between is labeled inconclusive.
The current detection integration doesn't supply a dedicated deepfake score, so VeriLens doesn't claim one. It reports an AI-generation score.
Short videos are sampled into up to eight frames, each scored by the image model. Reports say so explicitly. Sampling can miss very short edits.
Files upload only after your consent. Incomplete chunks expire after 15 minutes and analyzed chunks are deleted immediately. Only report metadata — not the media — is kept, for 30 days.
No. There's nothing to sign up for and no keys to enter. History stays on your device.
